DESIGN

Every project represents a custom design, specifically crafted to address individual client's wishes & problem areas at their home. These designs outline an actionable plan to achieve their landscaping goals and help beautify their homes.

INSTALL

Once the design is finalized, the project is ready for installation. I personally lay out new bed lines, place individual plants in their new homes, and ensure high quality results in all the details of the design.

AFTERCARE

Each of my clients receive an individualized Care Guide, complete with solutions to common issues they might face and tips & tricks for success. This comprehensive document is filled with advice specific to the Hampton Roads planting area.

PROJECTS

OCEAN VIEW AVENUE

Front yard paver driveway in Ocean View Norfolk. Complete with functional retaining walls, a small garden with stepping stone pathway, and new paver pathway up to the front door.

ESPLANADE PLACE

Gorgeous townhouse on the water with marshlands in their backyard, this client wanted a raised patio to be built to elevate views and maximize their sloped backyard. Planting beds flow naturally into marshland with special attention to potential flooding of the lower levels in big storms.

OCEAN SHORE AVENUE

Rock Garden installation near Chic's Beach, covering the entire property in decorative stones and drought tolerant plantings that can withstand high wind, salt spray, and still provide soft texture to this rugged landscape. Completed in two phases with functional dry river bed swale, decorative dry stack walls, and stepping stone pathways for access in the backyard.

STEWART COURT

Side yard turned relaxing paradise, paver patio installation with curving walkway and minimal evergreen plantings. Easy to maintain for maximum outdoor enjoyment!

OLMSTEAD COURT

Backyard patio & fire pit design and install. Complete with seat wall, columns, low-maintenance plantings, and a well manicured style. Wonderful enhancement to this new home in Chesapeake.

PAUL REVERE ROAD

Small and cozy new paver patio design & install to replace an aging deck. Landscaping installation to follow in a possible phase II. Emphasis on easy care evergreens and a formal style.

WITCHDUCK BAY COURT

Full property revival, converting an early 2000's design and plant selections to a modern day style. Extensive removals allowed a full plan to address all areas of the two acre property at one time.

PRETTY LAKE AVENUE

Full backyard transformation to a colorful haven. Design includes a large raised paver patio seating area with a paver walkway surrounding an above round pool. Full perimeter gardens, an intimate fire pit patio, and decorative dry stack walls.

DOUGHTERY COURT

A large project installed in three phases with possible fourth & fifth phases still to come. Converting a formal and all-green landscape to a pollinator friendly place that attracts wildlife including rabbits, frogs, ducks, and many types of birds.

DEVON WAY

Blank slate turned to family entertaining space with easy-to-care for plants and a cut flower garden tucked into an awkward corner of the yard. Design complete with in-patio paver lights to illuminate the pathway and seating areas, as well as accent lights on the ornamental trees.

STEWART DRIVE

Front yard major revamp after four large trees were removed and the stumps ground. The leftover chips and very poor soil meant grass didn't grow well and the owners were ready for a change. Design includes a circular patio for enjoying coffee in the morning, pathways throught the garden, and some privacy shrubs along the right side.

CUTTY SARK ROAD

A simple front foundation to give this home an updated look. Design includes a varied seasonal blooming time, easy-to-care-for plantings, and rose colored cobblestone edging to add a romantic cottage touch to this cozy brick ranch.
