CAUS Pin-Up 2

For the second pinup of the thesis year I displayed large images from the New Year's Eve dinner along with multiple servings of the Almond Genoise Cake to the students and professors who came to talk to me. I received positive feedback from everyone who tried the cake. They loved the design and flavors and were interested in the next dessert I was creating—the chocolate puzzle.

Here are some images of what I had on display for the presentation:

The first iteration I made of the chocolate puzzle on SketchUp was very complicated. It consisted of twenty-two individually-designed pieces of chocolate that could only be assembled one way. My initial concept of wanting each side to be different didn't seem practical anymore and I abandoned it. After I was able to 3D print this design I decided that it needed to be simplified. It was too difficult to put the puzzle together.
